Wedding Etiquette

The Receiving Line
This is a formal greeting of your guests before the Wedding breakfast
· Bride's Mother

Toasts and Speeches

After the meal the Bride and Groom cut the Wedding cake, which is then taken away to be sliced during the speeches.
· 1st The Brides Father will propose a toast to the health and
happiness of the Bride and Groom.
· 2nd The Bride Groom will respond and will then propose a toast to
the Bridesmaids.
· 3rd The Best Man responds on behalf of the Bridesmaids and after
speaking about the Groom's bachelor days, may read cards and
best wishes sent by guests who are unable to attend, closing with a
final toast to the Bride and Groom.
